Calibre Mining Expands Mineralization at Frank Zone of Valentine Gold Mine
Feb 11, 2025 3:59 AM

06:42 AM EST, 02/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Calibre Mining ( CXBMF ) on Tuesday reported drill results from the Valentine gold mine in Newfoundland and Labrador that expanded mineralization to surface at the Frank Zone.

The Frank Zone, a new discovery, now traced over 1 kilometer along strike and 500 meters deep, the company said.

Highlights of the results include 3.08 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 48.2 meters, 1.62 g/t gold over 44.6 meters, 1.94 g/t gold over 36.4 meters and 3.47 g/t gold over 12.6 meters.

"These new intercepts geologically align with ore from the Marathon, Berry and Leprechaun open pits," said Calibre President and CEO Darren Hall.

Valentine remains on schedule to achieve first gold in the second quarter, positioning the company to become a mid-tier gold producer with annual production of 450,000 to 500,000 ounces.
