08:41 AM EDT, 05/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- California BanCorp ( BCAL ) said Friday that its board has increased its share buyback program to 1.6 million shares, up from 550,000 when the program was announced in June of 2023.

California BanCorp ( BCAL ) said the increase allows for the buyback of 4.9% of its shares.

The company said no stock has yet been repurchased through the original or expanded buyback program.
