05:10 PM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- California BanCorp ( BCAL ) unit California Bank of Commerce said Thursday it has promoted Michele Wirfel as chief operating officer, effective Sept. 20.

Wirfel replaces Thomas Sa, who has left the bank to pursue other opportunities, according to California Bank of Commerce.

The company said Wirfel served as chief banking officer at California Bank of Commerce prior to its merger with Bank of Southern California.
