05:41 PM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cameco ( CCJ ) said Tuesday it priced a private placement offering of CA$500 million ($366.8 million) of 4.94% senior unsecured debentures due 2031.

The company said it expects the offering to close Friday.

Cameco ( CCJ ) intends to use the net proceeds to retire all of its outstanding 4.19% senior unsecured debentures at or before the

June 24 maturity date.
