07:03 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cameco ( CCJ ) on Thursday said first-quarter adjusted earnings per share climbed 45% on higher revenue.

Adjusted net earnings advanced to $70 million, or $0.16 per share, up from $46 million, or $0.11 per share. The result beat the consensus earnings per share estimate compiled by FactSet of $0.13.

Revenue grew 24% to $789 million from $634 million. The result was above the consensus earnings per share estimate compiled by FactSet of $570.1 million.

Adjusted EBITDA also rose 5% to $353 million from $335 million.

The company produced 6 million pounds of uranium, up from 5.8 million pounds. Cameco ( CCJ ) sold 6.9 million pounds, a decrease from 7.3 million pounds.
