Cameco Says Production Resumes at Inkai JV

08:44 AM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cameco ( CCJ ) said Monday that its Inkai joint venture with partner National Atomic Company Kazatomprom has resumed production.

The company said they have yet to determine the impact of the pause in production on plans for this year. Cameco ( CCJ ) holds a 40% stake in the JV, while Kazatomprom owns the remaining 60% interest.

Shares of the company were down more than 7% in recent Monday premarket activity.
