Campbell Soup Eyeing Name Change, CEO Says

01:54 PM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Campbell Soup ( CPB ) is seeking to change its name to "The Campbell's Company," Chief Executive Mark Clouse said Tuesday, according to a Capital IQ transcript.

Clouse said at the company's investor day that it plans to seek shareholder approval for the name change at the annual meeting later this year.

"We will always love soup, and we'll never take our eye off of this critical business," the CEO said, according to the transcript. "But today, we're so much more than soup."
