Campbell Soup's Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Net Earnings Unchanged, Net Sales Fall; Fiscal 2024 Outlook Reaffirmed

07:55 AM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Campbell Soup ( CPB ) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted net earnings Wednesday of $0.80 per diluted share, unchanged from a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.77.

Net sales for the quarter ended Jan. 28 were $2.46 billion, down from $2.49 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.44 billion.

The company said it continues to expect fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS of $3.09 to $3.15. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.06.

Net sales for the fiscal year are expected to range between a decline of 0.5% to an increase of 1.5% from a year earlier, unchanged from the prior forecast.
