04:41 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canaan (CAN) said Monday that its Singapore subsidiary has agreed to purchase 6,500 Avalon A1566 digital currency miners from HIVE Digital Technologies ( HIVE ) .

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company said 500 miners have been delivered and are scheduled for installation. The rest will be delivered in four monthly shipments of 1,500 units, from December through March, the company said.
