Canaan to Supply Avalon A15Pro Crypto Miners to Cipher Mining's Texas Facility

05:50 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canaan (CAN) said its US subsidiary agreed to supply 6,840 Avalon A15Pro cryptocurrency miners to Cipher Mining's ( CIFR ) Black Pearl facility in Winkler County, West Texas, in Q3.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The units will be fulfilled by Singapore-based Canaan's US and Malaysia facilities.

"As the price of bitcoin reaches new all-time highs, we're seeing a notable uptick in demand from our global customers," Canaan Chief Executive Officer Nangeng Zhang said Thursday in a statement.
