11:37 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Goose Holdings ( GOOS ) shares fell about 5% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported a fiscal Q1 adjusted net loss of 0.79 Canadian dollar ($0.57), widening from a loss of CA$0.70 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of CA$0.80.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was CA$88.1 million, up from CA$84.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected CA$85.1 million.
For fiscal 2025, the company said it continues to expect non-IFRS adjusted net income per diluted share to increase by a mid-teen percentage and revenue to grow in the low-single-digits year-over-year.
