OTTAWA, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Canadian Jobs Minister Patty
Hajdu on Thursday urged Air Canada ( ACDVF ) and the union representing
10,000 flight attendants to come back to the bargaining table to
avert a strike that is set to start this Saturday.
In a statement, Hajdu also said Air Canada ( ACDVF ) had asked her to
refer the dispute to binding arbitration. She said she had asked
the union to respond to this request.
