05:27 PM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Nickel Company ( CNIKF ) after trade Thursday said it completed a brokered private placement, raising $13 million as it placed 15.3-million units priced at C$0.85 each.
Each unit includes a share and half of a three-year warrant to buy ab additional shares for C$1.20.
In addition, Agnico Eagle Mines ( AEM ) plans to participate in a non-brokered placement, buying 2.2-million units for about $1.87 million, maintaining its equity position of roughly 10.1% (non-diluted) in the company.
Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) also completed a flow-through share offering, raising C$4.5 million by selling over 4.2-million shares at $1.06 each. These funds will support qualifying exploration expenses under Canadian and Ontario tax rules, it said.
In total, the company has raised about $19.4 million, which will be used to advance its Crawford Nickel Sulphide Project, along with general corporate purposes and exploration spending.
The company's shares closed up $0.03 to $0.89 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
