08:15 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) reported Tuesday initial resource estimates for its Mann Central and Texmont nickel sulfide projects in Timmins, Ontario.
Mann Central hosts indicated resources of 236.7 million tonnes grading 0.22% nickel containing 520,000 tonnes of nickel. It also contains inferred resources of 543.2 million tonnes grading 0.21% nickel for 1.15 million tonnes of nickel.
Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) also outlined an exploration target at Mann Central for an additional 600,000-2.0 billion tonnes grading 0.19-0.21% nickel.
Mann Central is located 23 kilometers east of Canada Nickel's ( CNIKF ) Crawford nickel sulfide project.
At Texmont, measured and indicated resources stood at 37.8 million tonnes grading 0.29% nickel, containing a higher grade resource of 1.69 million tonnes at 0.71% nickel, including 248,000 tonnes at 1.03% nickel.
"Mann Central is a mineral resource with significant scale and considerable potential for further testing in the future," CEO Mark Selby said. "Texmont, though a smaller target, has delivered strong results with meaningful quantities of higher grade nickel."
Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) said it continues to advance the Crawford project towards a yearend construction decision.
Canada Nickel's ( CNIKF ) share price fell 1.2% on Monday to $0.86 on the TSXV.
