11:51 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Nickel Company ( CNIKF ) on Wednesday released an initial mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Mann West Nickel Sulphide Project in Ontario.

Mann West is owned by East Timmins Nickel, of which Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) owns 80% and Noble Mineral Exploration ( NLPXF ) owns 20%.

The initial estimate reports indicated resources of 406-million tonnes grading 0.23% nickel, for 0.95-million tonnes of contained nickel and inferred resources of 599-million tonnes grading 0.22% nickel, for a total of 1.31-million tonnes of contained nickel.

A total of 16,833 meters of core drilling in 37 drill holes were utilized to calculate the Mann West Resources initial estimate, the company said.

Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) was last seen down $0.01 to $0.96 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
