08:12 AM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) reported Thursday additional positive exploration drilling results from its Midlothian nickel sulfide property in Ontario.

Results include 0.30% nickel over 18.7 meters, 0.30% nickel over 330.0 meters, and 0.29% nickel over 449.0 meters, including 0.36% nickel over 10.5 meters.

The company said the results extended the outline of nickel mineralization by 200-300 meters to the south.

"The latest drill assays from Midlothian have delivered the most consistently higher-grade intervals we've seen across any of our 18 drilled properties," chief executive officer Mark Selby said.

Canada Nickel ( CNIKF ) expects to release an initial mineral resource by year-end 2025.

The company's share price gained 9.3% Wednesday to $0.94 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
