07:24 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canada Packers ( CPKRF ) , which was spun-Off from Maple Leaf Foods ( MLFNF ) and publicly listed on TSX commencing Oct. 1, 2025, on Wednesday reported earnings and sales which rose in the third quarter, and also declared first dividend.
The company reported third-quarter earnings of C$25.6 million, up from $19.4 million in the corresponding year-ago quarter.
The company's third-quarter sales increased 14.7% to $481.8 million, compared to $420.2 million in the year-ago quarter, also beating consensus estimates compiled by FactSet of $469.8 million.
The company said that the sales growth was driven by higher volumes and higher average hog weights, favorable market pricing, and favorable U.S. dollar and Japanese yen exchange rates.
The company said that, on Nov. 4, 2025, the board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share on the company's common shares. The dividend will be payable on Dec. 31, 2025, to shareholders of record as of Dec. 10, 2025.
"Canada Packers ( CPKRF ) is reporting strong results this quarter, with pro forma Adjusted EBITDA up 37%, to approximately $56 million, and processing volume up 3.7%," said Canada Packers' ( CPKRF ) president and chief executive officer Dennis Organ.
