OTTAWA, June 5 (Reuters) - The Canada Energy Regulator

said on Wednesday it was allowing TC Energy's ( TRP ) NOVA Gas

Transmission Ltd (NGTL) to temporarily increase operating

pressure by 5% in a section of the Grande Prairie Mainline gas

pipeline near Edson, Alberta to do inspection runs.

Once the inspection runs are completed, the pipeline will

return to the restricted operating pressure required by an

earlier order which will remain in place until NGTL demonstrates

that the pipeline is safe to operate at higher pressure, the

regulator said in a statement.
