Aug 26 (Reuters) - Canadian lender Bank of Nova Scotia ( BNS )
reported a rise in third-quarter profit on Tuesday, as
it earned higher interest amid easing trade tensions with the
United States.
On an adjusted basis, it reported a profit of C$2.52 billion
($1.82 billion), or C$1.88 per share, for the quarter ended
July 31, compared with C$2.19 billion, or C$1.63 per share, a
year earlier.
