July 24 (Reuters) - Canadian miner Teck Resources ( TECK )
beat second-quarter profit estimates on Wednesday,
helped by higher production of copper at its Quebrada Blanca
mine in Chile, as well as higher copper prices and steelmaking
coal sales.
The company reported an adjusted profit of C$0.80 per share
for the quarter ended June 30, compared with analysts' average
estimate of C$0.73 per share, according to LSEG data.
