OTTAWA, May 14 (Reuters) - New Canadian Industry
Minister Melanie Joly on Wednesday told reporters she planned to
talk to the head of Honda Motor ( HMC ) by the end of the day
after the carmaker said it would pause a major Canadian project.
Honda ( HMC ) on Tuesday forecast a 59% profit decrease in the
current financial year and said it would put on hold a plan to
build an EV supply chain in Canada, amid the uncertainty
stemming from U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs.
