01:00 PM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) on Monday said it appointed of Patrick Whitehead as chief operating officer and Janet Drysdale as chief commercial officer.

Whitehead has over 30 years of railroad experience and over 25 years of being in management positions in Transportation and Mechanical operations. The company said Patrick's appointment follows the departure of Derek Taylor from the position.

Drysdale has been with the railway for nearly three decades in sales and marketing and other roles. Her CCO appointment comes after stepping into the position on an interim basis in July.

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.50 to $134.55 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
