Canadian National Railway Says 2050 Net-Zero Target Approved by Science Based Targets Initiative

10:01 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) said Wednesday that its its net-zero by 2050 target has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative.

The Science Based Targets initiative is a corporate climate organization that enables companies to set emissions targets in line with what is needed to reach net-zero by 2050, according to the group's website.

Shares of Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) were up 1.9% in early Wednesday trading.
