Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected CA$0.80.

The company maintained its quarterly cash dividend at $0.525 per common share, payable Oct. 4 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 13.

The company's shares were up 1.6% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
