06:34 AM EST, 11/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Natural Resources ( CNQ ) on Thursday reported that its adjusted net earnings fell year over year, but the company increased its 2025 production guidance.
Adjusted net earnings came in at C$1.80 billion, or $0.86 per share, down from $2.07 billion, or $0.98 per share. The result beat the non-GAAP earnings per share consensus estimate of $0.78 compiled by FactSet.
The company produced 1.6 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the third quarter, achieving a new record and increasing from 1.4 million boe/d a year ago.
Both liquids and natural gas production also hit new records, Canadian Natural said. Natural gas production rose to 2,668 million cubic feet per day from 2,049 MMcf/d. Crude oil and natural gas liquids production also increased to 1.2 million barrels per day from 1 million b/d.
Canadian Natural increased its 2025 corporate production guidance to a range of 1.56 million boe/d to 1.58 million boe/d.
