Canadian Premium Sands Q3 Loss Cut in Half

09:00 AM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Premium Sands (CPV.V) on Friday said its third-quarter net loss fell by 50%.

The company said net loss fell to $0.8 million, or $0.01 per share, from $1.6 million, or $0.02 per share, last year.

The company booked no revenue for the quarter.

Canadian Premium Sands is developing a business to manufacture patterned solar glass at a facility to be constructed in the City of Selkirk, Manitoba. It is raising capital for construction and operation.

"The demand for patterned solar glass in North America continues to accelerate with visibility for upwards of 65GW of demand by 2030 which represents a 500% increase from current levels," said President and CEO Glenn Leroux.
