Canadian Solar Swings to Q4 Loss, Revenue Falls; Shares Down Pre-Bell

06:24 AM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) reported a Q4 net loss Thursday of $1.66 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.48 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.47.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $1.22 billion, down from $1.52 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.35 billion.

The company expects Q1 revenue of $900 million to $1.1 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.55 billion.

Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) shares were down 9.5% in premarket activity.
