Canadian Solar Unit Gets Battery Energy Storage System Contract From Aypa Power

10:44 AM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said Tuesday its e-Storage unit received a contract from Aypa Power for a 498-MWh DC standalone battery energy storage system for its Bypass Project in Fort Bend County, Texas.

The project is scheduled for completion in Q3 2025, the company said.

E-Storage will provide operational support for the project under a long-term service agreement after integrating and commissioning the project to commercial operation, Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said.

The company's shares were down 2.7% in recent trading.
