07:40 AM EST, 12/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) unit Recurrent Energy said Tuesday it received a development consent order for its Tillbridge solar and battery energy storage project in Lincolnshire, UK.

The Tillbridge site is a joint venture with Tribus Clean Energy.

Recurrent Energy said the facility is projected to generate about 857.6 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity per year, enough to power almost 300,000 houses.

Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) shares were up 2.4% in recent premarket activity.
