08:12 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said Monday that its CSI Solar unit's e-Storage business has secured a contract from a Nova Scotia Power to develop three energy storage projects across the Atlantic Canadian province.
Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said that the projects, totaling 150 megawatts, will be built in Bridgewater, Waverley and White Rock, making them Nova Scotia's first grid-scale battery energy storage facilities in Nova Scotia.
The company said it expects construction to be completed by the end of 2026, with the first site operational next year.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
