08:07 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said Tuesday that its e-STORAGE unit has entered into a supply agreement with a US utility for a 500 megawatt or 2,493 megawatt hours DC battery energy storage system project.

Financial terms were not provided.

Under the agreement, e-STORAGE will supply around 500 SolBank 3.0 containers, the company said.

Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) said it will manufacture the battery cells, with shipments expected to start in March 2027 and completed by July 2027.
