Canadian Solar's Recurrent Energy Secures $260 Million in Financing From U.S. Bank Unit

08:13 AM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Solar's ( CSIQ ) Recurrent Energy said Thursday it has secured $260 million in project financing and tax equity from U.S. Bank's U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance unit for its Blue Moon Solar project in Kentucky.

Recurrent Energy and Constellation have struck a power purchase agreement under which the latter will buy power and renewable energy certificates produced by the 94-megawatt energy facility, Recurrent added.

Canadian Solar's ( CSIQ ) unit also said that the Blue Moon Solar project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be commercially operational next year.

Shares of Canadian Solar ( CSIQ ) were up 1.8% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
