Canadian Western Bank Terminates Dividend Reinvestment Plan

05:19 PM EST, 01/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian Western Bank ( CWESF ) after trade Thursday said it is canceling its dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) effective immediately, ahead of its acquisition by National Bank of Canada (NA.TO).

The plan agent under the DRIP, Computershare Trust Company of Canada, will send each participant a DRS Advice for whole CWB shares held for such participant's account under the DRIP and a cheque in payment for any remaining fractions of CWB shares in such participant's account.

All whole CWB shares held on behalf of participants under the DRIP will be entitled to NBC common shares in accordance with the transaction exchange ratio upon closing of the transaction.
