Canfor Renews Normal Course Issuer Bid

10:49 AM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Canfor ( CFPZF ) on Thursday said it received approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) to renew a normal course issuer bid that will expire in March 2026.

The company may buy back for cancellation up to 5.8-million common shares or about 5% of the 116.4-million shares outstanding as of March 16, at prevailing market prices, in accordance with the rules of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

Canfor ( CFPZF ) said it bought back a total of 1.9-million shares for cancellation from March 21, 2025 to and including March 16, 2026 under its prior bid, at a volume weighted average price of $13.7318 per share, through the facilities of the TSX. The renewed normal course issuer bid will start on March 23, 2026 and continue until March 22, 2027, unless completed or terminated earlier.

The company also entered into an automatic share purchase plan with a broker providing for the buy-back of shares under the renewed normal course issuer bid.

Shares of the company were last seen down 1.2% at $12.59 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
