Canlan Ice Sports Up 11% After it Declares a Special Dividend

02:08 PM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canlan Ice Sports ( CNLFF ) rose 11% on Friday after it declared a special dividend of $0.50 per share, payable on Aug. 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 31.

Canlan board chair Victor D'Souza commented: "It underscores our confidence in Canlan's ability to fund its growth and its robust capital expenditure program aimed at better serving our customers."

The company had declared a quarterly dividend of $0.03 per common share back in May.

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.40 to$4.00 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
