Cannabix Technologies Makes the First Sale of Its Marijuana Breath Test to a U.S. Construction Client
Mar 19, 2026 11:06 AM

01:34 PM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cannabix Technologies ( BLOZF ) on Thursday said it made the first commercial sales of its marijuana breath test (MBT) products to the construction industry.

The products were sold to a regional contractor engaged in industrial, civil, and commercial construction in the Pacific Northwest., the company said.

The Cannabix MBT detects delta-9 THC, the primary psychoactive component of cannabis, in breath within four hours of use at levels above 5 picograms per liter. This window aligns closely with impairment-relevant timeframes, offering an alternative to older tests that detect past exposure, a statement said.

"As cannabis use continues to expand across the United States, safety-sensitive industries are struggling with outdated drug testing methods that do not reflect real-world workplace needs," said chief executive Rav Mlait. "Our Marijuana Breath Test provides a modern, scientifically grounded way to identify recent cannabis use in a fair and non-invasive manner. This first commercial delivery to a major construction contractor is an important milestone that supports safer operations and more informed decision-making."

Cannabix ( BLOZF ) shares were last seen unchanged at $0.88, on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
