The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has announced the formation of an expert committee to create a roadmap for onshoring Indian innovation to the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) IFSC.

ODOP products have been included in all gifts given at G20 and B20 events. These products are also being showcased in Indian missions abroad, giving them wider exposure and potentially opening up new markets.

The State High-Level Clearance Committee, chaired by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, has approved a total of 18 projects. Out of these, 10 are new projects, five involve expansions, and three are additional projects. The proposed investments for these projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 77,606 people.

Gulf carrier Emirates has raised concerns over seat allotment in India. Speaking exclusively to CNBC-TV18's Madeeha Mujawar, Emirates President Sir Tim Clark said the government remains reluctant to give more seats to carriers.
