Canterra Minerals Starts Drilling on Wilding Gold Project
Nov 3, 2025 7:20 AM

10:12 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Canterra Minerals ( CTMCF ) , up 13% to a fresh 52-week high, said Monday it has begun drilling new high-grade gold targets on the Wilding Gold Project.

New geological understanding developed from Canterra's summer 2025 program and public data releases from the adjacent Valentine Mine opened by Equinox Gold (EQX.TO) this year has resulted in new, high confidence drill targets, the company said. These targets demonstrate strong potential for high-grade gold hosted in quartz vein systems along the 55 km gold-bearing corridor that also hosts the deposits at the Valentine Mine.

A total of 1,200 meters of large diameter core drilling is planned across 15 drill holes.

"Over the past four years, Canterra has been systematically consolidating resources and expanding its land position within the central Newfoundland Mining District. New detailed geological understanding building on our 2021 work and historical gold exploration data at Wilding has positioned the Project for future work, " said chief executive Chris Pennimpede.

Canterra shares are up $0.02, to $0.18, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
