01:13 PM EDT, 06/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cantex Mine Development ( CTXDF ) said Monday it intersected copper mineralization in the first three holes drilled at its North Rackla project in Yukon.
Since the start of drilling, the company said three diamond drill holes have now been completed at the Copper Project on the western side of the company's North Rackla property.
Hole YKDD24-287, which was drilled at a -45-degree dip and 13-degree azimuth, intersected 1.8 meters of an estimated 8% chalcopyrite contained within a quartz-carbonate breccia from a 7.1-meter depth.
Hole YKDD24-288, which was drilled from the same pad at a -45-degree dip at an azimuth of 35 degrees, has intersected 17 meters of an estimated 2% chalcopyrite from a 9.5-meter depth. Hole YKDD24-289 intersected 5.05 meters of an estimated 2% chalcopyrite from 3.3 meters depth.
The company's shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.13 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
