11:37 AM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global Ratings on Wednesday assigned its "BB" issue-level rating to Capital Power's ( CPXWF ) $450 million series 2 fixed-to-fixed rate subordinated notes due 2054.

The company will use net proceeds to repay certain amounts drawn on its credit facilities, to redeem its series 11 preferred shares, and for general corporate purposes.

Price: 38.02, Change: +0.77, Percent Change: +2.07
