12:15 PM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cardinal Health ( CAH ) said Thursday that it opened a new distribution center for its at-Home Solutions business in Fort Worth, Texas, and planned to begin construction of a similar facility in Sacramento, California, this fiscal year.

The 340,000-square-foot Fort Worth facility will ship around 10,000 packages daily to patients' homes, delivering essential medical supplies for managing chronic conditions, the company said.

The company said its planned Sacramento distribution center will break ground this year and is expected to be fully operational in summer 2027.

Cardinal Health ( CAH ) said it is also retrofitting a distribution center in Ontario, California, to install an automated outbound conveyor system.

Shares of Cardinal Health ( CAH ) were down more than 1% in recent trading Thursday.
