Cardinal Health Planning New Forward Distribution Center in Indiana

09:52 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cardinal Health ( CAH ) said Tuesday that it plans to open a new flagship forward distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana, to expand and upgrade its national pharmaceutical distribution network.

The new facility will feature a robotic storage and retrieval system, as well as advanced automation for inventory, fulfillment, and management of material flow, the company said.

Cardinal Health ( CAH ) said the distribution center is expected to be fully operational by fall 2027, creating more than 100 new jobs in the state.

Financial details were not disclosed.
