BEIJING, June 4 (Reuters) - Global grains and metals
trader Cargill has decided to stop its physical steel trading
within China, according to two people familiar with the matter
and a client notice seen by Reuters.
In response to a query from Reuters, Cargill said: "We have
made the decision to optimise our model for onshore physical
steel trading so that we can bring the best of our capabilities
to serve customers in China and the world."
The company did not immediately provide further details.
