CarGurus Q4 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Sets Q1 Guidance

04:53 PM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CarGurus ( CARG ) reported Q4 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $0.55 per diluted share, up from $0.35 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $0.52.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $228.5 million, up from $223.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $232.3 million.

The company said it expects Q1 non-GAAP EPS of $0.41 to $0.47. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.42. The company expects revenue for the quarter of $216 million to $236 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $238.6 million.

Shares of the company fell 9.6% in after-hours activity.

More than eight months after the remission of duties and taxes on exported products scheme or RoDTEP was notified, the government has finally announced rates under the scheme. The rate notification comes after exporters had voiced concerns over the long delay and had also approached the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, commerce minister Piyush Goyal as well as the Prime Minister's Office seeking clearance of dues under the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) and to seek clarity on RoDTEP rates.
