09:19 AM EDT, 05/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Carlyle (CG) introduced a middle-market aerospace, defense and industrial investment platform focusing on deals in the US and Europe, the investment firm said Wednesday.

Aaron Hurwitz, who leads the firm's defense investments, and Wes Bieligk, a partner on its industrials team, will lead the group, while Ian Fujiyama, Carlyle's global head of aerospace, defense and government, will serve as the chairman, the company said.
