12:32 PM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Carlyle Group ( CG ) , Alpha Wave Global and Anchorage Capital will invest in Bharti Airtel's Nxtra Data unit, according to media reports.

The $1 billion investment includes $435 million from Alpha Wave, $240 million from Carlyle, $35 million from Anchorage and $290 million from the parent company, the reports said Monday.

The companies didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
