Carnival's Fiscal Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; 2024 Earnings Guidance Raised

09:55 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Carnival (CUK, CCL) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Monday of $1.27 per share, up from $0.86 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.15.

Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 was $7.90 billion, up from $6.85 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $7.82 billion.

For fiscal Q4, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of about $0.05. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.07.

Carnival said it now anticipates fiscal 2024 adjusted earnings of $1.33 per share, compared to previous guidance of $1.18. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.21.

Carnival shares were down 2.7% in early trading.
