02:51 PM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Carrier Global ( CARR ) issued a 'disappointing' Q3 guidance despite a "modest" beat in Q2 and unchanged outlook for 2025, RBC said in a note emailed Wednesday.
RBC said Carrier expects earnings per share guidance of $0.80 to $0.81, which is about 13% below consensus, along with mid-single-digit growth in organic sales and flattish operating margin in Q3.
Noting certain positives, RBC said that Carrier's doubled capacity for datacenter air cooling units likely reflects some significant wins. RBC also noted growth in the heat pumps segment in Germany and the commercial HVAC segment in the Americas.
Nevertheless, RBC lowered its 2025 and 2026 estimates by 5 cents each to $3.00 and $3.45, respectively.
The firm maintained its outperform rating on the stock and lowered its price target to $87 from $89.
