10:10 AM EDT, 06/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cascades (CAS.TO) launched Wednesday a new packaging solution for eggs.

This food packaging consists of a moulded pulp base and a sleeve made from coated recycled board. According to Cascades, tests show that its Fresh GUARD EnVision triples the packaging's rigidity and doubles its stacking strength. Its packaging is pre-qualified as widely recyclable by How2Recycle.

Cascades was at last look up $0.06 at $9.02, but still trading at the lower end of its 52 week trading range.
