ALMATY, April 16 (Reuters) - The Caspian Pipeline
Consortium (CPC), which handles some 1% of global oil, said on
Tuesday that it was working to protect its facilities from
floods in Kazakhstan's Atyrau.
CPC, which exports oil from Kazakhstan via the Black Sea,
also said that three of its four pumping stations along the
pipeline in the country are not in the danger of the deluge,
which forced tens of thousands to evacuate in Kazakhstan and
Russia.
